Organization

This proposal will mobilize the collective efforts of simulation researchers in astronomy and planetary science in Japan. In this proposal, we will collaborate as a whole to promote the project by holding regular research debriefing sessions and opportunities to exchange information for optimization. This will not only dramatically advance research in each area, but also enable us to understand the interaction between hierarchies, such as galaxy formation and star cluster formation, and star cluster formation and star formation. The implementation structure of this project is as follows.

The Joint Institute for Computational Fundamental Science (JICFuS), which includes computer scientists and mathematicians, will serve as a hub for the development of applications, and will provide necessary information for the development of applications for other proposals. JICFuS will also collaborate in the development of applications with proposals in the field of elementary particles and nuclei, which will take over the development of applications for sub-issues A and B of “Priority Issue 9 on post-K computer”.
