1. Place
The symposium will be taken place at the Reception Hall in Nara Prefectural New Public Hall(奈良県新公会堂). The access to the symposium place will be seen the above URL.
Those who stay in hotel ‘Sun hotel Nara’ can get on the City-circle bus (市内循環バス) from JR Nara station to the venue. (If you go to JR Nara station, you can find easily bus terminal in front of JR Nara station.)
From JR Nara Station
Bus Route #2 (City-circle bus outbound line) [JPY 200] Get on: Bus stop #1 (East side of the station) Get off: Daibutsuden Kasuga Taisha mae (大仏殿春日大社前). It’s operated every 6-10 minutes from early morning (around 6:00) to midnight (around 23:30)
Or you can take taxi from the hotel to the symposium place. The cost is approximately 1,000 Japanese Yen.
2. Scientific program
The scientific program for the presentation and poser presentation will be attached in this e-mail. Please check carefully the title of your contribution and let us if changes are necessary as soon as possible.
3. Registration
Registration fee
All participants should pay registration fee by 4,000 Japanese Yen. The fee is included coffee, snacks and symposium dinner.
Registration
On-site registration will be taken place in the front of the ‘Reception Hall’ from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on 13th December. Later registration is possible during the opening hours of the symposium office.
4. Symposium dinner
We will have the symposium dinner at 19:30 p.m. on 14th December at the restaurant 葉風泰夢 on B1F in Nara National Museum. It takes 5 minutes on foot from the symposium venue. To reach there, please see http://www.narahaku.go.jp/.
5. Poster session
Poster session will be held on Thursday 13th December. Drink and snacks will be served during the poster session.
The poster presenters are requested to place a poster, prepared in English, on the assigned board in the lunch time on Thursday. The posters will be removed until the coffee break in the afternoon on Friday. The size of the poster board is 1200mm (width) by 1800mm(height).
We will select three best presentations among poster contribution. Those who are selected as best presentations will give oral presentations on 16th December.
6. Symposium Photo
We will take a Symposium photo just after the first morning plenary session (coffee break time) on 14th December.
